Every day around the world over 2 million blogs are published online. That’s enough content to fill Time Magazine for the next 770 years but not all of it (in fact almost none of it) is up to Time standard. With the amount of content being pushed out on a daily basis, it’s easy to get overwhelmed in a sea of noise. Fortunately for you we spend far too much time scouring the web so you don’t have to, and here are our favourite Australian men’s lifestyle sites for your enjoyment.

1. Boss Hunting

How could we not include ourselves on this list? Since launching the site in April 2015, we’re reaching almost 500,000 Australian men every month and growing. You’re already here, so check out the site to see what we’re all about.

2. The Versatile Gent

A blog by two of the most stylish blokes in Australia, James Want & Tom Hosking, TVG is an intimate and very well worded men’s lifestyle site covering on a whole range of topics with a particular focus on fashion, cars, and travel. Some of the places and press junkets these boys manage to get involved in are insane (think a 24 hour trip to Tokyo to test drive the new Rolls-Royce Dawn), and always make for enjoyable reading. We liked TVG so much, we ended up buying it – so it’s now part of Boss Hunting.

3. The Tailored Man

While not the most prolific publisher, what The Tailored Man lacks in volume, it makes up for in visual quality. Run by Melbourne socialite Dalton Graham and his business partner Marten Ascenzo, The Tailored Man is definitely worth a visit for any man who loves the finer things in life.

4. The Cool Hunter

While not strictly male focused, Sydney based (but massive globally) The Cool Hunter is the place to be for anything design, architecture, travel, or dare we say it, cool. Run by Sydneysider Bill Tikos, The Cool Hunter is one of the most influential blogs on the planet, almost single handedly launching the careers of artists like Francoise Nielly and CJ Hendry.

5. Wayward Son

While not prolific producers of content, what Gian Reyes and the team at Wayward Son do write is always on point. Starting as a fashion blog and moving into lifestyle, health, and entertainment; Wayward Son is definitely one blog worth checking out.

6. Executive Style

Unfortunately Executive Style was shut down by Fairfax in May 2020.
