Drake Debuts ‘No Life’ Playlist Featuring Kanye West, Skepta & More

— Updated on 2 August 2021

It seems as we progress further and further in music, concepts that were once key parts of the industry become less and less relevant. Drake, who is always pushing boundaries with how he puts out his work, has just released 23 new songs on Spotify and other streaming services.

Now instead of calling this an album or a mixtape like you normally would, the Canadian rapper has chosen to call it a playlist. Entitled ‘More Life’, the project features new tracks from Drake himself as well as Skepta, Giggs, Kanye West, Young Thug, PARTYNEXTDOOR and other lesser known artists.

When it was originally introduced in October last year, Drake explained how he wanted to provide a “soundtrack to your life”, rather than another traditionally assembled project. Other objectives of ‘More Life’ included using it as a way to expose new artists to the rest of the world and to create the vibe of a group of people just hanging out, making music.

Take a listen to ‘More Life’ below and see if it fits your classification of what a playlist should be.
