Leica has just announced the addition to their line of Lieca Q cameras. Photography buffs and fanatics alike now have the option of purchasing the model in a two-tone colour arrangement, with a silver top plate, baseplate, and lens, as well as a back coloured in a sleek midnight black.

This version of the Leica Q will also reportedly feature new control elements, adding to the functional elements “… designed clearly and logistically, for optimum efficiency…”. This includes the control menu which will provide rapid access to all “essential controls”, and enabling users to program in personalised settings to really tailor towards their snapshot needs. The lens will showcase engraved focal length numbers and distance scale in a vivid red. But some classic affectations just never change, like the high-grip pattern found on the regular model’s black leather trim which will remain identical. Apart from that, the Leica Q in silver has relatively similar performance specs, down to the 24 megapixel full-frame sensor.

The Leica Q in silver will be available at the relevant retail outlets by late November, starting at $4,495 USD. The all-black Leica Q is currently selling for $4,250 USD.
