Nature finally is healing with the announcement that Australia’s most prolific music festival – Splendour in the Grass – will actually be going ahead in 2021. Headlined by Tyler the Creator, The Strokes, and Gorillaz, after a rollercoaster of a year for domestic events – music and otherwise – punters will be rewarded for their patience with a very special Spring Edition scheduled to take place in November.

Anyone holding onto a ticket from last year’s sale needn’t worry a single pretty hair on their heads. But if the new timing doesn’t exactly work for you, or if the prospect of shedding those winter layers for some Byron Bay sun isn’t your cup of tea, the ticket resale platform will open starting from 12 PM today until March 31st (refunds much be requested by the purchaser).

“Huge thanks to our headliners for being flexible and to our amazing Splendour community for their ongoing support,” says Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco, Co-Founders of Splendour in the Grass.

“We had so hoped to bring you Splendour’s 20th Anniversary edition this July but we can’t stage the event that you know and love within the current restrictions and international border closures.”

“Since March, not a single festival in Australia has been able to run at full capacity and the industry is currently operating at a fraction of pre-COVID levels.”

“To the music-loving public, when a tour or event is postponed, we ask you to hold onto your tickets. This is the best way to support your favourite artist or event right now.”

“We miss you and we can guarantee that when we see you in November it’s going to be worth the wait.”’

Once again, Splendour in the Grass 2021 (Spring Edition) will take place from November 19th to 21st – find out more below and cop a ticket if you haven’t already.
