Fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have listed their Stromboli island home for an undisclosed sum – thought to be upwards of €6m.

Located in the province of Messina, north east of Sicily, the lavish property can be reached by ferry in just over an 1 hour from Milazzo or 4 and a half hours direct from Naples. The residence, which consists of three traditional white-washed Aeolian homes, converted into a single 235 sqm dwelling, has been owned by the pair since the 1990s. It houses seven suites, decorated in signature D&G style and is wrapped by 300sqm of terraces and entertaining space with postcard views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
