Sometimes it's fun to see how the 1% lives. Other times it's a mistake knowing what you're missing out on. In the case of this visual step through the threshold of Tommy Hilfiger's $50 million USD penthouse, it's the latter.
The duplex at the top of New York City's Plaza Hotel which overlooks Central Park simply screams crème de la crème. With previous tenants such as Marilyn Monroe, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones, it certainly lives up to a standard.
And as if that wasn't enough, the dwelling is decked out with gifts from an entire host of famous friends. Books from fellow fashion figure, Karl Lagerfield. Photographs from all-time-great rocker (and former tenant), Mick Jagger. And even a family portrait from Annie Leibovitz.
