On The Market This Week: Chris Hemsworth Eyes A New York Penthouse

There’s been a fair amount of coverage surrounding the Byron Bay mansion of Australia’s third-largest export, Chris Hemsworth (he just gets edged out by iron ore and coal). But as it turns out, Hemmsy has reportedly been eyeing another property. This one being an AU$18 million penthouse in New York.

Located in Manhattan’s financial district and designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen, this spacious dwelling spans 312 square metres. With three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an unobstructed view of the singular cityscape that practically wraps all the way around – it certainly feels like $18 million at a glance.

As for the amenities, 5 Beekman Street holds everything you’d expect to catch the eye of Thor himself. Like a gym and treatment rooms on hand. In terms of the fun options, there’s a media room (read: home cinema), skateboard ramp, infinity rooftop pool, as well as a one-of-a-kind mural and “hundreds of solar panels”.

To kick things up a notch, this penthouse is serviced with next-level offerings. In addition to the standard housekeeping crew, 5 Beekman Street also has:

  • fresh flower delivery
  • room service from Tom Colicchio’s restaurant, Temple Court
  • and even personal trainers available for the building’s gym

Suffice it to say, it’s a different life being a Hollywood A-lister. Check out the full walkthrough below.
