Anyone in the entertainment industry will tell you how important fans are to the success of their particular brand, however in some cases things get way out of hand, literally.

Recently the creator of one of TV’s greatest hits, Breaking Bad, Vince Gilligan had to speak out after a number of fans of the show decided to re-enact an iconic scene.

The scene in question is of course the one where the shows protagonist, Walter White throws a pizza onto the roof of his home. For the unlucky homeowner of the real life White residence the task of removing pizza after pizza was getting old.

In a podcast for the Breaking Bad spinoff series, ‘Better Call Saul’, Vince Gilligan brought up the issue faced by the Albuquerque residents. “They’re throwing pizzas on roofs and stuff like that. Let me tell you: There is nothing funny or original or cool about throwing pizzas on this lady’s roof. It is just not funny. It’s been done before. You’re not the first.”

If that wasn’t enough to scare off the perpetrators, or anyone following in their footsteps, Jonathan Banks, who plays Mike Ehrmantraut in Breaking Bad and Better Caul Saul also said he would hunt down and kill those responsible for the pizza chucking.
