Hong Kong auction house Bonhams has listed two extremely converted Macallan Scotch whiskies for sale in their ‘Rare and Fine Wine and Whisky Auction’ later this year.

Last auctioned in the 1980’s, the two 60-year-old bottles were of a batch of just 24 ever made by the Scottish distillery. Presented in ‘tantalus’ cases, the labels were designed by pop artists Peter Blake and Valerio Adami.

Bidding will begin in May, with figures expected between Â£330,000 – Â£425,000, that’s a maximum of roughly $770,000 Aussie dollars.
