Jim Beam has been distilling bourbon whiskey for over 200 years and now the barrels have found another purpose. In a salute to American heritage, Jim Beam has collaborated with watchmakers Original Grain to create 500 original watches from the very same white oak barrels used to age Kentucky Bourbon.
Each limited edition timepiece is inherently unique thanks to the reclaimed wood barrels' characteristics. Original Grain believes in the highest standard of craftsmanship, so each piece is made with automatic 8215 Miyota Movement (21 jewels/40 hour power reserve), 316L stainless steel case and links and comes packaged in a specialty box kit packed with branded flask, Italian leather band and tools.
In a feel-good initiative, Original Grand has teamed up with Trees for the Future to give back to those who depend on the forest. For every watch sold, the company will plant 10 trees to provide food and jobs for people all around the world. So you won't just look good on the outside, but you'll feel good on the inside too.
The watches retail for $499USD and you can get yours here.
