One of the best party games of all time, Mario Kart, is set to become way more immersive. If you visit VR Zone in Shinjuku, Japan, you can now play the classic game in full virtual reality. Using technology from the HTC Vive, Japanese company Bandai Namco developed a special VR version of the game in collaboration with Nintendo.
A demo video for the arcade shows off the setup, which involves seats shaped like small cars and wrist mounted motion sensors which allow players to throw objects at opponents. It looks absolutely epic, especially if you're a long-time fan of the series.
