A Day In The Life Of World’s Richest Person, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos

The glow up of Jeff Bezos is too real, both on a monetary and personal basis (you honestly have to check out the comparison here). The Amazon founder CEO’s recent copping of the title of world’s richest man in July of this year, coming with the valuation of $US90.6 billion to his name. But apart from his running of Amazon, Bezos also owns the Washington Post and aerospace company Blue Origin.

So what does a tech mogul with that much on his plate get up to on a daily basis?

Bezos Always Wakes Up Naturally, Without The Aid Of An Alarm Clock

Bezos is not really big on meetings overall, rumoured to only meet with investors for a maximum of 6 hours a year. He also has a ‘two pizza’ rule, meaning he never organizes a meeting where two pizzas couldn’t feed the entire group.

Bezos Is Known To Be Quite Explosive, Even To The Point Where He’s Hired An Executive Coach To ‘Help Him Tone It Down’

He’s also set a ‘frugal’ vibe around office, not providing perks or throwing any major events.

Meals Can Often Be Unusual

During a meeting he ordered octopus with potatoes, bacon, green garlic yogurt, and eggs for breakfast.

‘When I look at the menu, you’re the thing I don’t understand, the thing I’ve never had,’ Bezos said. ‘I must have the breakfast octopus.’ He’s also a fan of food trucks, with a hugely popular one located just outside of the Amazon office, and doesn’t slack on the clean up, ritualistically washing all the dishes after dinner.

He Unwinds With Some Star Trek

Bezos is known to be a massive Trekkie, even amounting to a surprise appearance in ‘Star Trek Beyond’. He also explores space in real life, gliding about in a submarine looking for old NASA rocket as an easy hobby.
