Way back in 1987, Nike released the Air Max 1. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, it brought it that now instantly recognisable Air Max cushioning to the masses. But over the years the original design has been altered, changing the shape and styling of the shoe.
In a throwback to the glory days, Nike and its design team is aiming to bring back the classic silhouette for the 30th anniversary of the shoe. Launching March 5th, Nike has included many original elements that have not been since the original 1987 release. Sleek and simplified, these are definitely a pair to throw on with your next casual outfit.
