Basketball icon Michael Jordan is parting ways with his 4-acre Utah mansion for the tidy sum of AU$11 million. While not short of a dollar (MJ has a reported net worth of a casual AU$2.7 billion), the six-time NBA champ seems to be selling up a number of properties this year, with his 7-acre Chicago compound also popping up on the market.

The Utah mountain retreat offers impressive views of the Glenwild Golf Course and the Wasatch Mountains through huge floor-to-ceiling windows and comes with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The stylish home also includes a fully equipped gym, stadium seating theatre and a golf simulator room so you can work on your swing without leaving the pad.

The interior is enclosed by vaulted ceilings, Italian marble and bamboo flooring, with Swiss Pearwood and Macassar ebony veneer cabinetry found throughout the alpine digs. A winding staircase connects both levels, which have numerous fireplaces, granite countertops in the kitchen and mosaic-tiled showers and jetted bathtubs.

Outside, there’s a half-moon shaped infinity pool and a cascading waterfall feature. There’s no shortage of space for entertaining, either, with a large BBQ facility, a massive television hung from the wall and an outdoor fireplace.

If AU$11 million is a bit too steep you can always pay in instalments, with real estate agents Zillow allowing monthly payments of a lazy AU$35,000.
