Ever wanted to taste Australia’s best wines in one session? Pick the difference between a Penfolds, Henschke, Bass Phillip, Wendouree? Learn from some of the best growers and winemakers in Australia about what makes an exceptional drop?
Now’s your chance.
This September, Australia’s leading wine auction house, Langton’s, is running its seventh wine Classification event, aptly titled Langton’s Classification VII (the seventh in their 30 year history), and the public is invited to attend. With representatives from literally all of the country’s top vineyards, the event gives you access to wines you’ve previously only dreamt about.
Along with the opportunity to taste Australia’s best wines, ticket holders also get cheese and charcuterie to nibble on, a hardcover copy of the VII Classification book, and a Riedel tasting glass to boot.
Langton’s Classification VII is making its way across the country, hitting Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane throughout September with tickets priced from $150. For more details, and to book, click the links below.
Whether you’re a self-proclaimed wine expert, someone who’s just trying to learn the ropes, or you just want to know how many different wines one man can taste in three hours, the once-every-four-years Classification VII is well worth checking out.
