After more than two years of capital raising alongside extensive research and development, Tzukuri has unveiled the world’s first unlosable eyewear range.
The Sydney based team, led by 23 year old Allen Liao (who dropped out of University to pursue the idea) hopes to change the eyewear game by blending high-tech with high end design to make “the simplest, cleanest, most beautiful product we can.”
The technology works by integrating a tiny bluetooth receiver into each pair of glasses which in turn pairs with your smartphone and sends information between the two devices. If you leave your glasses somewhere, the Tzukuri app will send you a push notification letting you know you’ve left them behind and where they were last seen.
The frames, which come in two styles at launch, are manufactured in Sydney from high quality recyclable acetate and priced at $485.
They’re available both online and at the Tzukuri pop-up store at The Old Clare Hotel in Surry Hills, Sydney until April 1.
