In recent years, the staple of corporate life for so many years, the suit, has been under attack, with ambivalence seemingly the current stance toward the garment.
Suits are BOSS's bread and butter, so a fall in popularity in the suit means a shake up is required, and Ingo Wilts, BOSS's chief brand officer, has delivered this with the BOSS FW18 collection which was unveiled in New York last week.
The collection moved away from the tailored and into the comfortable while drawing inspiration from America's favourite pastime, baseball.
Jersey shirting with piping, jumpers with baseball player inlays, blazers, and beautifully tailored pants were amongst the range, an exciting new direction for BOSS.
