There's no doubt that some of our favourite Bond moments are after he's overcome his trials and tribulations as a Double O agent and ended up somewhere we would rather be with a stunner in tow. While taking down Oddjob and SPECTRE might be a bit above your pay grade, you can at least holiday like the great man. Here's our guide to holidaying like James Bond on Italy's Amalfi Coast.

Stay

First thing to sort out is a private hideout. Villa Luisa is the perfect hideout in Maiori, providing views that will absorb even the most troublesome of worries. The property sleeps 14 guests in 7 bedrooms and provides guests with a sense of luxury while retaining an authentic Italian rustic feel. The villa is perfect for entertaining guests or getting away with a group. Day beds and an infinity pool mean you don’t have to travel far to enjoy the European sun either.

Villa Luisa is available to rent on AirBnb starting at around A$3,000 a night ($215 per person if you fill it). Not the cheapest stay you'll ever have but it definitely puts you at Bond level.

Drive

If you want to truly feel like a Double O agent, you’re going to have to find a way to drive a vintage car along the winding cliffside roads of the Amalfi Coast wearing a crisp white shirt, a pair of Persol 714's, and some Tod's Driving Shoes to boot. The AC Cobra is our recommended vintage vehicle and Sprintage Classic Car Touring will give you the chance to cruise the coast in style.

Alternatively if you're more of a contemporary type, you really can't go past an Aston Martin cabriolet. Europe Luxury Car Hire in Sorrento is where you'll find one.

Eat

No Bond-esque trip to the Amalfi Coast would be complete without dining at a 'boat access only' restaurant, and fortunately we've got two of them for you. Da Adolfo is a short boat ride from Positano and truly one of the most picturesque dining spots in the world. Similarly stunning La Conca Del Sogno (pictured below) is a Beach Club / Restaurant / Hotel accessible most easily by boat and located near the small town of Nerano. If it's glitz and glamour you want, this is your answer.
