Enjoy Bubbly Like Bond With Bollinger's Moonraker Limited Edition

The hype for No Time To Die continues to ramp up with high-profile champagne house Bollinger celebrates its 40-year collaboration with the 007 franchise with the release of the limited edition Moonraker themed bubbly.

"It brings me an immense amount of pride to be celebrating 40 years of partnership between Bollinger and James Bond, it is a testament to the friendship started in 1979, between my father Christian Bizot and James Bond producer Cubby Broccoli. A friendship based on our shared values such as excellence and elegance," CEO Jacques Bollinger said in a statement.

Although first appearing in Let And Let Die in 1973, it wasn't until 1979 when Bollinger become the official champagne of James Bond, visibly front and centre in Moonraker. This special edition champers celebrates the film and the partnership between the two brands, coming in a pewter and wood veneer space shuttle shaped box that also holds a Saint Louis crystal ice bucket and a magnum of Bollinger 2007. Only 407 of these sets have been made with each numbered and crafted by hand.

Keeping the good news coming, Bollinger has also released a rare 2011 vintage to commemorate the upcoming No Time To Die. The elegant all-black bottle features a 25 shaped label containing all the titles of all the Bond films and is the first Bollinger made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes picked from the Grand Cru village of Aÿ, the original home where Bollinger was first established in 1829.

Bollinger General Manager Charles-Armand de Belenet told Fortune, "It has a very unique taste - a little like James Bond in taste. A fantastic balance of power and elegance."

The Bollinger Moonraker Limited Edition champagne set retails for $8,730 with the Bollinger 2011 No Time To Die vintage coming in at $279 a bottle, with both available in November via wine.com.
