Merivale Is Doing 49% Off Schooners In All Its Sydney Pubs & Bars This Week

As was the case just a few weeks ago at Allianz Stadium, hospitality behemoth Merivale is putting up a rather delicious portfolio-wide discount for Sydneysiders in need of more than a few coupla couplas this week. In celebration of its current month-long Beer Oh Beer! festival, which will be stacked with a bunch of crafty events at popular Merivale venues. the Justin Hemmes empire is knocking 49% off all drinks (at all Merivale venues) from today right through to Sunday, September 18. Not exactly the ‘Merivale half price drinks’ deal you expected, but the 1% difference doesn’t matter too much.

Just weeks after Merivale pulled the same tasty move for its new Allianz Stadium portfolio, the group has extended the 49% off all schooners offer to all of its many venues around Sydney, including Vic on the Park, The Newport, Coogee Pavilion, The Grand Hotel, The Royal Bondi, The Paddington, The Beresford, and more.

The week-long happy hour with (almost) half-priced schooners will run each day between 5 PM and 7 PM, perfect if you and the boys want to turn each and every day of this week into a bit of a Friday sesh.

It’s not quite as extensive as the 49% off all drinks offer Merivale put up for an entire month in 2019, but there should be zero complaints from Sydneysiders who frequent these venues after work anyway.

Although this time around, the Merivale discount is a bit more limited. You’ll only see schooners of beer get the price tag slash. Usually, it’s all drinks, which would have included all cocktails, spirits, wine, and Champagne as well.

As always, it’s 49% off because legally no one is allowed to offer half-priced beers for obvious reasons. Either way, things should get a bit wild as Merivale’s beer prices are shaved down to equal more affordable bars and pubs around Sydney.
