Picture this: an autumn evening in LA, you’re on the upper concourse of The Staple Center in the midst of watching an NBA game. Surrounded by Blaze Pizza, burgers, nachos and hotdogs, the feeding array is endless – and nothing goes down better with an Antetokounmpo dunk than a fat feed.
Now imagine doing all this all while receiving $500 (plus spending money) to actually try out all the menu options offered at NBA games during the 2019-2020 season.
Well, now you can. Thanks to punting website Pickwise.com, one lucky winner will be chosen to honourably wear the title of “Official NBA Food Tester” and snag free tickets for three to five games. The winner will have to daringly rank each offered food items in order of how good they taste.
Pickwise spokesperson Jake Apperly has stated that, “Sports and food go hand in hand…and here at Pickswise, we want to hire someone to finally settle the debate and lock down the best food in the NBA.”
Eating a trademark dish from each stadium they visit, the winner will be selected at random by Pickwise, with the anticipated announcement on October 15.
To enter, simply follow @Pickwise on Twitter and reply to their pinned tweet with a photo of yourself eating your favourite thing to eat at the NBA or even just yourself at a game! Using the hashtag #NBAFoodTester.
You can submit an entry until October 14, but you’ll obviously need to be Stateside to get the job done.
