A cigar to pay homage to the man who found his muse in the late hours of the evening.

Davidoff of Geneva is honouring the great Winston Churchill with its latest release: the Winston Churchill Late Hour Cigar. Aptly named to pay homage to the British icon who found his inspiring edge in the late hours of the night, the cigars likely would have been a favourite of the man himself.

In fact, they're bound to be a favourite of almost anyone. Six months of ageing the tobacco in single malt whisky casks bring together complex, heady and exquisite flavours made to stimulate the palate. The carefully selected mix of Nicaraguan Condega Visus tobacco and two different Dominican Visus tobaccos are brought together with a Mexican binder.

The result is a cigar bursting with the exquisite flavours of black pepper, sweetness, dark coffee, old leather, wood, and spice. The shiny, oily Habano Ecuador wrappers are dark like the challenges Churchill so brilliantly overcame. The package is all the better with an added cigar liquor glass equipped with notches to hold a cigar. The mouth blown glass was created by a European glassware expert and is available in a set of two.

You can buy a box of 20 from Davidoff of Geneva for US$402 (AU$557) with the option to add the glass set for US$497 (AU$689).
