Originally set for a Monday release, Warner Brothers have released the first full trailer for upcoming blockbuster Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice ahead of schedule. This was an offensive measure undertaken by the film studio after shaky mobile phone footage of the trailer was uploaded to the internet on Thursday evening.
Starring Henry Cavill as Superman, and Ben Affleck as Batman, the trailer depicts a bleak and downcast world in which the civilian population seems to have grown discontent with the "alien" Superman, and his actions after the events of Man of Steel.
Villain Lex Luthor (played by Jesse Eisenberg) narrates quite strongly that "the devil's don't come from hell beneath us, they come from the sky". Audiences are then treated to their first look at Affleck as Batman, first staring silently at his mask and cape, and later shown standing armoured up before a menacing Superman.
The trailer culminates with Batman questing the Man of Steel "Tell me, do you bleed?" before stating "You will". Audiences however will have to wait until March 25, 2016 to find out.
