Stan Lee. The man behind Spider-Man, Iron Man, Black Panther, the X-Men and the creative genius who made comics (and much of entertainment) what it is today.
Lee passed away earlier this week at the age of 95. He spent his years working to inspire people of all ages, genders and backgrounds, using his influence to create many an unprecedented hero and heroine.
When asked to explain his often repeated catchphrase of โExcelsior!โ in 2014, Lee explained that it means โKeep moving forward, and if itโs time to go, itโs time. Nothing lasts forever. Iโve had a long enough life.โ
A long life well-lived creating a legacy that will follow him far beyond his years. Marvel has created a tribute video in honour of its the life and legacy of its co-creator. Excelsior, Stan Lee.
