AVENGER HURRICANE MILITARY

Avenger Hurricane Military

Starting strong with our personal favourite from the 2017 range, this tough timepiece limited to a special release of only 1000 units boasts one of the most robust outfits for a Breitling yet. The Avenger Hurricane styles an exclusive 24 hour display with aeronautical-type numerals on a black volcano toned dial.

Housed in a 50mm Breitlight case, this piece is no doubt as sizeable as it is durable; its unique casing material is 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel.

If that wasn't enough to convince you of its strength, the Avenger Hurricane is anti-magnetic, anti-thermal and anti-corrosive, all the while water resistant to 100 metres. It will withstand anything as hot, harsh or as deep as you possibly can, and more.

The signature Manufacture Breitling Calibre B12 self-winding chronograph movement displays time in an unparalleled accuracy synonymous with military precision.

COLT SKYRACER

Colt Skyracer

A fresh direction for the Breitling brand, this next generation Colt Skyracer variant is as youthful as it is dynamic. Taken from the name of the plane that flew with Breitling colours in the Red Bull Air Race, the Skyracer finds its home in a 45 mm Breitlight case with similar durability standards as its big brother Avenger.

Aesthetically, the white numerals are bold and offset by red accents, encompassed by a sapphire crystal case that is glare-proofed on both sides. The Skyracer's thermocompensated SuperQuartz movement is ten times more accurate than standard quartz movements.

The most attractive feature of the Skyracer, is undoubtedly its more achievable price point.

NAVITIMER RATTRAPANTE

The flagship of the Breitling fleet, the iconic Navitimer model, has been reformatted around an in-house split-seconds chronograph movement. Available in steel or gold interpretations with a bronze-coloured dial, the timepiece's Manufacturing Breitling Calibre B03 allows one of its two co-axial hands to be independently stopped to measure split times before 'catching up' (rattrapante in French).

The balance between these two alternating mechanisms also means this is one of the most difficult watches to create. The Rattrapante comes in black standard and a 250 red-gold limited edition.

SUPEROCEAN HÉRITAGE II

Superocean Héritage 1957 - 2017

Superocean Héritage 1957 - 2017

Designed for the modern explorer, this longstanding Breitling staple celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2017. The Superocean has never drastically swayed from its original design, the Basel 2017 model a homage to the collections of the past, most notably its original 1957 design.

The modern version hosts a new steel bezel and an ultra-hard high-tech metal ring, the casing scratchproof and the watch overall extremely shock resistant.

The Superocean Heritage II is available in black, blue and bronze, in either 42mm or 46mm variants.

Price: $5,490 AUD (Superocean Heritage II Chronographe starts at $7,320 AUD)
