Hopper HQ has once again revealed the highest-paid celebrities on Instagram right now, and suffice it to say, the numbers – both in followership and $$$ – will raise eyebrows/frustrate you to no end.

Last year, socialite, cosmetics mogul, and Forbes confirmed billionaire Kylie Jenner (300 million followers) was dethroned by the smiling giant himself, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson (289 million followers). This year, it’s Johnson’s turn to step aside for Premier League superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (389 million followers) — who earns over $1.6 million per sponsored post. That’s just a touch more than CR7’s perennial career rival Lionel Messi, who apparently charges about $1.17 million.

But you’d be mistaken in thinking Kylie Jenner and The Rock are slumming it despite their respective #4 and #2 positions for 2022. Primary sources of income aside, a commercial shoutout from both accounts will set you back roughly $1.5 million each. Which certainly isn’t pocket change.

Ms Jenner isn’t exactly the sole IG hustler in her clan, either. Coming in at #6, Kim Kardashian (278 million followers) regularly cashes in an average of $1.42 million a post, followed by Kendall Jenner (212 million followers) at #10 with a respectable fee of $1 million, Khloe Kardashian (211 million followers) at #13 whose favour costs $949,000, rounded out by Kourtney Kardashian (159 million followers) at #17 with $785,000.
