Heading to the behemoth new Allianz Stadium in Sydney this weekend to see the Rabbitohs and the Roosters duke it out, or Wallabies clash with Springboks for the Rugby Championship? Better make it a big one. And if youโve got a mate sitting it out, this announcement should help you rope him in. Merivale, which operates all 64 hospitality venues โ including Tottiโs and Ms Gโs โ at the $828 million stadium is, for two days only, offering 49% off all drinks. Cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, champagne, soft drinks and juice โ if you can sip it, itโs almost half price.
First, why 49%? Thatโs the maximum amount any business can legally discount alcohol as per NSW state law. And Merivale has run promos like this before across the hospitality groupโs numerous venues, but not before has the hefty promo clashed with two major sporting events, in Sydneyโs newest major sporting stadium.
On each day, Mervialeโs โ49% off all drinksโ promo will form a two-hour happy hour across all 64 Merivale-run venues in the sporting arena. That includes, as above, Tottiโs Pasta Bar and Ms Gโs Noodles & Dumplings. But also Jimmyโs Falafel, memberโs club fine-diner Bertโs and more.

That gives you and the lads a lot to work through on either Friday, September 2 (Rabbitohs vs Roosters) or Saturday, September 3 (Wallabies vs Springboks). You could grab some of those sweet El Loco Tacosโ Margarita Seltzers, sip on on Ata Rangi pinot noir from Tottiโs, or scoop up some of that rose spritz from Ms Gโs. Or you can just head to the standard bar and down some cold ones during the big games.
Letโs not get too wild here though. The 49% off all drinks discount only applies to drinks up to the value of $200. You wonโt be reaching too high up the shelf if you want to save some cash. Although itโs not like anyone sips on anything too pricey at a sporting game anyway.
Merivale and its โ49% off all drinksโ promo runs at Allianz Stadium from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, September 2 and Saturday, September 3.
