In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got some sexy French offerings, a British exclusive, a Melburnian cult-classic, and plenty more.

Single Summit

Not to be that guy, but I was the first person to try out the “viral” Montblanc from Melbourne cafe Good Measure.
Cold drip, under a layer of thick orange-scented foam, topped with zest and grated nutmeg: you’ve probably skimmed over knockoffs on cafe menus all over the country by now. If you’ve been holding out for the real thing, you can now try one out at Single O Sydney this weekend. I’ll see you there.

Back To Bassikes

Our tequila of choice, 1800, has teamed up with Aussie staples brand Bassike to produce a new wardrobe essential: the humble denim jacket.
It’s a universal fit light-wash rigid denim trucker, with a bit of fraying to keep it casual. It’s also got a very subtle terracotta finish and pyramid stitch detailing on the traps, calling to the Jaliscoan hills of the tequila’s origins. What’s more, there are only 18 left – probably much less now that there are only smalls left in short supply.

Strive For Clive

London and Dubai exclusives of Clive Christian are, for this month only, available in one more place in the world – Libertine Perfumery Armadale and Paddington.
The London Exclusive, Inox, is inspired by stainless steel – cold, metallic, sharp, and clean. The Dubai exclusive, Kinam, is built on the rarest agarwood resin: $600/oz Kinam oud. It’s fruity, leathery, and, to me, like sticking your nose into a tin of cocoa powder. Only 10 bottles per store, so get in quick.
$POA – it’s not even listed online!

Ahlem Globetrotters

It’s hard to find distinctive optical styles these days… at least for me. Enter Ahlem, the French brand which boasts handcrafted excellence.
The newest Echoes of Love campaign flaunts some seriously sexy shapes, for all shapes. In both acetate and metal finishes (electroplated with palladium and finished in 22-carat gold), the whole collection is one worth your perusal.

Vintage Celine

Michael Rider’s Celine is really satisfying at the moment… bold colours, unfussy styling, vintage sensibility; it’s a breath of slightly musty but welcome air!
Recently debuted on the main stage (the Spring runway), their Reebok Freestyle Lo collab combines “make me like Mike” proportions with 8 tonally future-proof colourways. Comfy, unpretentious, and stylish. What’s not to love?

Going Dutch

Known for their pastel gradients and some more kitschy kitchen kits (the Pokémon set comes to mind), Le Creuset’s newest colour is decidedly less saccharine. Called Onyx, it’s a glossy black, re-issued from a 90s colourway, and a much more straightforward symbol of the cast iron within.
