In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got a state-of-the-art macchiato maker, free matcha for Sydney-siders, and plenty more.
It’s Getting Lit

We all have a friend whose eyes only light up when they’re talking about extraction, roast, and crema– where the addiction isn’t so much to the caffeine but to the process of pulling the perfect cup. May I present: the Lelit MaraX– the newest (and sleekest) piece of kit for serious coffee lovers.
With a temperature configuration knob to micromanage the perfect pull (each roast is different, after all), a double manometer to keep the pressure under control, and a noise suppressor, it’s a step up from your average coffee machine, and a beautiful piece of design to boot.

On Saturday from 11–12, Canada Goose will have a DJ, in case you need a stronger pick-me-up.
Goose Grass In A Glass

To celebrate the opening of the Canada Goose Chatswood Chase store, Harry’s Bondi is slinging complimentary matchas from today to Sunday, each designed to represent the relationship between Canada and Australia.
Mango Horizon is a mangoey matcha with maple salt, drawing inspiration from Canada Goose’s FW26 seasonal colour, Solar Aria. If you’re a coconut fan, then Maple Cloud pairs creamy coconut yoghurt with maple sea salt
The activation runs today to Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM, or while matchas last, and on Saturday from 11–12, Canada Goose will have a DJ, in case you need a stronger pick-me-up.
U Need More Denim

The kids are onto something: wide-legged denim has escaped the realms of the transient TikTok trend and landed firmly in the real world. So, please, if you’re still clutching your slim-fitted denim from years gone by, this one’s for you.
Naturally, Uniqlo is the perfect place to start, particularly as everyone’s favourite Japanese atelier drops its latest U Collection. Uniqlo’s U Wide Tapered Jeans are made from sturdy cotton twill and bring plenty of volume and shape through the leg with curved lines and a slightly tapered finish. They’re only $59.90, too. So an absolute non-negotiable to see if the wide-leg life is for you.

Wax Off

Barbour’s Bedale design has been co-opted by Japanese retailer United Arrows and Sons for a less serious execution. Made in an oversized Bedale cut, and constructed from bright nylon instead of the usual waxed cotton, it’s a spring-perfect jacket to welcome in the warmer months.
Pre-orders available here for around $583.60.
Wiggle Your Big Toe

Onitsuka Tiger has brought back the Tai-Chi, a 2003 archive shoe that took its shape from the slippers worn for tai chi. Most famously, however, worn by The Bride (A.K.A. [REDACTED]) in Kill Bill: Part 1.
The OG keeps the plain toe and the thin, flat sole, so it sits low and slim on the foot. The upper is leather. It comes in white & black, black & white, and yellow & black. There’s something to be said for the white – unless you’ve got a vendetta on your mind.
Now if any of you wanted to buy an original Kill Bill shoe, now’s the &^%*$!@ time!
