Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got a new project from McLaren Special Operations, the Porsche x Martini Racing collaboration, Bang & Olufsen’s first anniversary release, and plenty more.
McLaren 750S Project Viva

If you love the idea of owning a McLaren supercar but loathe the prospect of pulling up to your local car meet and spotting the exact same spec across the parking lot, McLaren Special Operations (MSO) was created for you.
MSO is basically the British carmaker’s bespoke personalisation division, and for its latest project, McLaren has turned to Sin City for inspiration with the McLaren 750S Project Viva. Unveiled ahead of this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, Project Viva features a paint job that “reimagines the city’s landmarks, lights and energy through intricate monochrome paintwork and hand-crafted artistry.”
Honestly, they’ve done a great job with it, and if you’re keen to see it in the carbon, Project Viva will be on display inside McLaren’s Experience Centre (within the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel) from November 13th to 20th.
Onto smaller-scale and less serious racing, the team behind Sydney’s Hyper Karting has now opened BattleKart – an AR-enhanced version of traditional go-karting, also found in Moore Park at the precinct’s Showring.
Interact with the virtual scenery and “bonuses” projected on the ground to take out your rivals Mario Kart-style (i.e. digital rockets that slow down targets when you hit them) and get it done, piloting the same calibre of electric karts that made Hyper Karting a household name.
The game types are as follows:
BattleRace
Get ready to experience an explosive race like no other! Compete in high-speed races while deploying virtual weapons like rockets and oil slicks to outmanoeuvre opponents. Race your opponents and put not only your driving skills to test, but also your reflexes and aim when firing tonnes of rockets at them. What about those behind you? Cover the track with oil puddles to slow them down! In BattleRace, the goal is to complete as many laps as possible before time runs out. Anything goes to claim the top step of the podium.
BattleSnake
Gather fruits, make your snake grow and block your opponents’ way! Navigate a jungle-themed arena, collect magical fruits and grow your snake while avoiding others. Deep inside a hostile jungle, you discover a Mayan temple and magic fruits that powerful snakes feast on. Be the most skilled player in the arena, gather as many fruits as you can to be the biggest snake at the end of the fight. Trick your opponents, move fast and avoid getting bitten: The venom is powerful! Can you outsmart your opponents?
BattleFoot
BattleFoot is the best soccer video game… in a kart! Play a unique version of soccer, dribbling and shooting a virtual ball into the opponent’s goal. The field may be virtual, but the challenge is real! The ball reacts perfectly to all your dribbles and shots. The winning team is the one that has scored the most goals when the whistle blows. This is a great game for a birthday party or soccer obsessed group. You might be good on the pitch but are you good in a BattleKart?
BattleVirus
All against one, in this 100% co-operative mode. Team up to combat a spreading virus, requiring strategy and precision to contain. It is green and nasty. It adapts and strengthens every time you attack it. The virus you’re about to face has one objective: to infect and stop you, one by one. You will have to work as one in order to defeat it. Co-ordinate your attacks in this 100% co-operative game mode!
BattlePool
It’s pool, but in a Battlekart! Prove your accuracy to win the trophy. Engage in a giant game of pool on wheels, aiming to pocket balls before the opposing team. Fourteen balls, six pockets, two teams and right in front of you… perhaps the game winning ball! In BattlePool, Team Blue and Team Pink battle it out on the biggest and flashiest pool table – in karts! You’ve got to see this.
BattleColour
BattleKart goes Disco with BattleColour Claim territory by painting the track in your team’s colour, reminiscent of classic arcade games. The Saturday night fever takes over the track in your BattleKart venue, Will you be able to keep up the rhythm and hold your colours until the finale note?
Porsche x Martini Racing Collection

Continuing with the race-themed selections of this week’s Good Finds, Porsche has been on an unstoppable run of collabs lately, releasing coffee beans made by Aussie specialty coffee roaster ST. ALi, a lineup of kitchen goods with Smeg, and plenty more. Now, it’s turned its attention to apparel in partnership with its friends at the legendary Martini design outfit.
Announcing the arrival of a stacked collection that includes everything from shoes and luggage to hoodies and scarves, my pick of the lineup would have to include the Sports Bag ($307), the Collector’s Cup No. 3 ($67) for a morning brew, and the Martini Racing Sneakers ($456) made possible thanks to the folks at Puma.
If you’re a Porsche driver, or simply love the brand and its long-term association with Martini Racing, this is well worth checking out.
Bang & Olufsen Beolab 90 Titan Edition

In celebration of the brand’s centenary, the team at Bang & Olufsen’s Atelier service has just revealed the titanically proportioned Beolab 90 Titan Edition.
Stripped back to a raw, hand-finished aluminium cabinet, the speaker weighs a whopping 65 kilos and is capable of producing 8,200 watts per speaker via an array of 18 drivers. This is the first of five special projects to celebrate Bang & Olufsen’s anniversary.
Awake Sơn Mài Fragments Collection

Awake is a young watch brand – one that began with a Kickstarter campaign in 2018 – and yet, it’s already putting out some of the more interesting dials you’re likely to come across at this price point.
Originally founded to focus purely on sustainability, creating watches made from recycled ocean plastic – which were selected by the French government to be given as official gifts for the 45th G7 summit in 2019 – the brand has since broadened its offering to include a line-up of Vietnamese lacquer dials.
Its most recent collection is the Sơn Mài Fragments range, the dials of which combine Vietnamese lacquer with the Japanese decorative technique of Raden. The result is a trio of watches with glossy dials made up from mother-of-pearl fragment micro-mosaics, each of which arrives in a vibrant shade of green, blue, or purple.
LVL UP Hydration Cans

Our friends over at LVL UP have once again kept us stocked – this time with a minifridge full of their new canned offerings – and unsurprisingly, we emptied the damn thing in less than a fortnight.
With delectable flavours such as Grape, Lemon & Lime, and Mixed Berry, while the original sachets are still #1 in our hearts, these frosty health-forward treats should definitely be in your summer arsenal (whether you’re spending a long day out in the sun, recovering from a hangover, or anything else in between).
‘Nuff said.
