It’s little wonder why Bang & Olufsen is regarded as one of the world’s most lust-worthy makers of premium audio equipment, with recent hits including the American Psycho-chic Beosystem 9000c CD stacker and the head-turning portable Beosound A5.
Now, the team has turned its attention to an epic archival vinyl unit, debuting the Bang & Olufsen Beosystem 3000c as a part of its Recreated Classics series. Combining a revived aluminium Beogram 3000 turntable, which was originally launched in 1985, with a matching duo of Beolab 8 speakers – it’s part home entertainment system, part objet d’art.

The Beogram 3000c should be instantly recognisable to anyone who’s ever coveted the minimalist loft setups that grace social media feeds. Its re-anodised aluminium panels and solid walnut back cover are complemented by a geometrically shaped tonearm and platter, all of which is protected by a sleek new dust lid.
Hand-assembled at Bang & Olufsen’s Factory 5 in Struer, each turntable’s aluminium components are painstakingly pearl-blasted and brushed. To complete the system’s visual symmetry – and remind owners of how lucky they are – each numbered turntable is paired with a walnut-trimmed Beolab 8 speakers that also boast contemporary functionality such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
It also features Bang & Olufsen’s Mozart Platform for access to all major streaming services: a perfect fusion of analogue warmth and digital convenience. The Recreated Classics range has breathed new life into some of the company’s most iconic products, inviting vinyl devotees and CD loyalists alike to rediscover their favourite records with decades worth of audio advancements.

With only 100 units available, the Beosystem 3000c stands as a testament to Bang & Olufsen’s knack for marrying heritage design with modern performance – proof that sometimes, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. You just need to give it a polish. Australian pricing has yet to be confirmed, though the European RRP is confirmed at €26,000 ($AU$45,500).
