- Samsung has debuted the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB television at CES 2026, dubbed the R95H “Timeless Frame.”
- With advanced AI-driven picture, sound, and voice features, it builds on the brand’s history of treating televisions as design objects (not background appliances).
- Samsung R95H “Timeless Frame” price: TBA.
For years, Samsung has made it its mission to rethink the humble television. From the sculptural Serif to the art-centric Frame, under the South Korean tech giant’s careful direction, what could easily be another household appliance can now claim the status of interior design centrepiece.
In the brightly lit exhibit halls of Las Vegas’ CES 2026, this longstanding ambition took a dramatic leap with the official unveiling of the Samsung R95H (or more elegantly referred to as “Timeless Frame”): the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV.

At 130 inches, the new R95H is colossal in scale, presence, and intent… and stakes out territory previously reserved for dedicated home cinemas. Samsung calls its display technology “Micro RGB Precision Colour 100,” engineered to cover the expansive BT.2020 colour gamut that professionals use as the benchmark of cinematic intent.
In layman’s terms, this translates to a picture that holds on to nuance and brightness in ways smaller screens rarely manage. Proprietary design choices aimed at reducing glare also ensure the colours remain rich and stable in real salons as well as controlled show floors.
As touched upon earlier, the R95H’s design language builds upon Samsung’s ongoing engagement with form. Where many high-end televisions retreat into dark rectangles, this bad boy borrows from architectural framing that makes it appear to float. The “Timeless Frame” philosophy even embeds audio hardware within the bezel itself, with speaker tuning that aligns sound with the sheer scale of the panel.
This is not an add-on but a deliberate integration of sight and sound.
Beneath the surface sits a suite of processing engines whose names might feel like marketing shorthand – Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Colour Booster Pro, and Micro RGB HDR Pro – but whose impact is tangible. Contrast gains depth, shadows are nuanced, and brightness is dialled with scene-by-scene precision. In other words, the “Timeless Frame” has no bad angles.

Support for HDR10 Advanced and a range of AI-driven features, including a voice-centric companion, positions this screen as a hub as much as a display.
That AI ambition extends to content discovery and interaction: voice prompts summon apps and search results without the contortions of a remote control, while specialised viewing modes such as AI Football Mode Pro adjust picture and audio elements for live sport – tailoring experiences that feel purpose-built rather than generic presets.
Samsung has not yet revealed pricing or a release date for the R95H Timeless Frame. Though the lack of specifics suggests this may be a classic case of “if you have to ask.” Standby for updates on domestic availability and a confirmed retail figure.
