The world of electrified transport is already taking off on dry land, but weโve only started to see the genuinely exciting aquatic applications. One of them is the Searider, which takes advantage of the latest leaps in both battery and electric motor technology to create a terrifyingly aggressive (and rather futuristic) Searacer jet ski.
Itโs one of two models recently announced by the Monaco-based start-up; the other being a more modest Vespa-inspired iteration, trading its sportier siblingโs pace for 90 minutes of range. The Searider Searacer resembles a track-born superbike and boasts a blistering top speed of 77km/h with a battery life of 50 minutes. Total weight: 65kg.

This speed-to-weight ratio is all thanks to a dual electric motor propulsion system capable of generating 45 horsepower, which draws its juice from an easily removable battery pack. This Searider is currently available in different colours including white, grey, and blue.
Unsurprisingly, all this futurism and carbon fibre construction doesnโt exactly come cheap. So if youโre interested in owning a Searider Searacer, be prepared to shell out โฌ27,950 (AU$46,000) for the pre-order. Deliveries are expected to arrive sometime during this coming European summer.
