  • Hublot has unveiled six new references within the Spirit of Big Bang family, featuring new materials and colours.
  • In total, two references are crafted from orange ceramic and frosted carbon, while four others flaunt a tourbillon and a five-day power reserve in coloured ceramics.
  • The prices for all six new watches range from $46,300 to $155,000.

This year might be all about the Big Bang, as the groundbreaking collection celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025. But that hasnโ€™t stopped Hublot from finishing the year strong with a suite of new Spirit of Big Bang references.

All told, Hublot has debuted six new references within the family, each introducing something fresh to the line-up, including new materials and colourways.

Hublot Spirit Of Big Bang Chronographs

The two new Spirit of Big Bang chronographs โ€“ now available in either a vibrant orange ceramic case or a lightweight frosted carbon case (both a first for Hublot).

While the Spirit of Big Bang has been available in ceramic tones such as blue, red, green, and beige, the orange ceramic is arguably the most eye-catching variant so far, and the matte black frosted carbon reference brings a unique texture with it in every watch.

Each case features that classic tonneau shape and measures a comfortable 42mm in diameter and 14.1mm in thickness. Powering these watches is the HUB4700 hi-beat automatic skeleton chronograph calibre, rated for up to 50 hours of power reserve.

While the orange ceramic reference is paired with a black and orange rubber strap, the frosted carbon example is secured with a black fabric strap.

The orange ceramic reference will be a limited edition of 200 pieces and arrives with an RRP of $56,600. The frosted carbon reference, on the other hand, is a part of the regular catalogue and has an RRP of $46,300.

Hublot Spirit Of Big Bang Tourbillon Five-Day Power Reserve

The four new Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon Five-Day Power Reserve references bring a little more complexity to the table, available in either black, red, yellow, or blue ceramic cases (previously, the model was only available in white ceramic or carbon).

While the case colours are whatโ€™s fresh about these references, the movement also deserves some attention if youโ€™ve not come across it before. Featuring a tourbillon cage at six oโ€™clock, the in-house skeletonised HUB6020 calibre brings a feeling of weightlessness to the wrist, while also boasting a power reserve indicator so you always know how much gas is in the tank.

With 115 hours on offer (five days), you should always have plenty.

As far as case dimensions, these manually wound Spirit of Big Bang references are slightly thinner than their automatic siblings, measuring 42mm in diameter and 13.25mm in thickness. All four references are paired with two straps, including a fabric strap secured with a ceramic buckle, and an additional tonally matched rubber strap.

โ€œThe Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon 5-Day Power Reserve has a special place in the hearts of our collectors,โ€ explains Julien Tornare, CEO of Hublot.

โ€œThe tonneau format is rarely a first acquisition. It requires a certain amount of watchmaking experience, which we are taking a step further today with these coloured ceramic variants. Itโ€™s a very demanding technology, and only we have the necessary expertise to be able to offer it in so many colours.โ€

โ€œCombined with our five-day power reserve tourbillon, these new Spirit of Big Bang timepieces have become more unique and different than ever.โ€

The new Hublot Spirit Of Big Bang Tourbillon Five-Day Power Reserve references are limited editions of 20 pieces and command a considerable RRP of $155,000.
