  • Raymond Weil has expanded its millesime collection with the arrival of three new Small Seconds “Tuxedo Dial” references.
  • Available in either black and white, dark blue and black, or red grape and light grey, they bring an elevated, formal touch to an already elegant line-up.
  • All three references are now available from Raymond Weil authorised dealers and online, with prices starting from $3,750 on a leather strap.

When Raymond Weil debuted the millesime Small Seconds collection back in 2023, it immediately turned heads. Not only was it widely celebrated by enthusiasts and collectors alike, but it also won the 2023 GPHG “Challenge” Prize for the best watch under CHF2,000, cementing it as one of the best affordable watches on the market, bar none.

Now, the independent, family-owned watchmaker has taken the collection to the next level, announcing the arrival of three new “Tuxedo Dial” references that bring a touch of genuine classicism to the already elegant collection.

Essentially, the millesime Small Seconds “Tuxedo Dial” line-up is a sharp spin on the brand’s sector dial darling, as well as serving as a tidy way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Raymond Weil.

The formula is simple: bold two-tone layouts, Art Deco geometry, and a dial that’s got just enough depth to keep you staring at it.

Under a domed sapphire crystal, you’ll find a crosshair running through the centre, a layered sector layout for legibility, and that small seconds subdial sitting at 6 o’clock.

Size-wise, it’s a clean 39mm stainless-steel case, and at just 10.25mm thick, it’s slim, balanced, and easy to wear. The three new references are defined by their respective dial colours, with black and white for a classic formal take, midnight blue and black for something moodier, and red grape and light grey for a touch more personality.

Hands are silver-toned with Super-LumiNova for easy legibility, there’s a subtle mix of polished and satin-brushed finishing on the bezel. And around back, you get an exhibition caseback showing off the movement that offers 41 hours of power reserve. The straps are interchangeable, with your choice of a calfskin leather strap or a steel bracelet if you want something a little more robust.

All three references are now available from Raymond Weil authorised dealers and online, with prices starting from $3,750 on a leather strap and $3,750 on the stainless steel bracelet.
