- Tissot has announced three new models for the PRX collection, including two crafted from titanium and one from Damascus steel.
- All three models feature a new 38mm case size, splitting the gap between the existing 40mm and 35mm sizes.
- The two titanium references arrive with an RRP of $1,435, while the Damascus steel version is $1,735.
The PRX collection has been an absolute juggernaut ever since it was first released in 2021, reaffirming Tissot as one of the best affordable Swiss watchmakers in the game (and bringing a dose of 70s charm to the wrists of hundreds of thousands of fans).
Today, the collection expands into new territory with the arrival of two Tissot PRX references crafted from titanium and another with a case made from Damascus steel โ all of which feature a new 38mm case size.

I wrote at the start of last year that titanium was a massively underused material in watchmaking and brands were starting to pay it more attention (Cartier just released its first Santos de Cartier in titanium), so itโs great to see Tissot get in on the action โ especially at its approachable price point.
This isnโt the first time Tissot has experimented with different materials in the PRX collection: while the forged carbon reference a proper head turner, these latest releases bring an even sportier edge to an already very versatile collection.
The two titanium references are distinguished by their different dial colours โ silver with rose gold dial furniture and blue โ and are paired with matching brushed titanium bracelets that bring their total weight to just 84g. For context, thatโs just nine grams heavier than the forged carbon PRX paired with a rubber strap, confirming these titanium PRXs as seriously featherweight on the wrist.

They also arrive with a new case size of 38mm, which splits the difference between the original 40mm model and the 35mm model that came later. Both titanium models are about a credit card-width thicker than the 40mm model (10.98mm vs 10.9mm), though considering how light the new case material is, youโre unlikely to notice any difference on the wrist.
Accompanying the new titanium references is another fresh case material in Damascus steel, also sized at 38mm.
Instead of a matching bracelet (that would have pushed up the price significantly), Tissot has opted to pair the Damascus version with an integrated black leather strap that nicely matches the elevated case material of choice, which looks fantastic with the intricate striping of the many layers of steel.

All three watches are guaranteed to a water resistance of 100 metres (though youโre unlikely to want to get that leather strap too wet) and are powered by the ever-reliable Powermatic 80 movement. Offering an impressive 80 hours of power reserve, itโs also equipped with an antimagnetic Nivachron balance spring to ensure better accuracy over time.
All considered, the titanium references could well be my favourite PRX releases to date. The forged carbon is very cool to look at, and I still love the original 40mm references, but titanium watches are some of the most comfortable sports watches Iโve ever worn, and I canโt wait to try these on the wrist.
All three references are currently available online and from Tissot boutiques. The two titanium references arrive with an RRP of $1,435, while the Damascus steel version is $1,735.
