To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his seminal debut album Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, 50 Cent is embarking upon The Final Lap world tour which (thankfully) includes Australia.

Kicking off over in North America from July 21st, we’re set to witness live renditions of his chart-topping hits – i.e. ‘In Da Club,’ ‘Many Men,’ ‘Just A Lil Bit,’ and of course, ‘Candy Shop’ – in addition to “select tracks” that haven’t been performed live in decades.

But hearing fan favourites dusted off for the stage after all these years isn’t the sole aspect that makes this forthcoming international affair special. It’s the fact that the iconic rapper and G-Unit founder himself (real name: Curtis Jackson) has recently hinted his touring days are numbered.

“I won’t be running around like this no more,” the Emmy and Grammy award-winning multi-hyphenate revealed during a video post shared on Instagram.

“I got to do my film and television stuff and got a lot of other things going on behind the scenes that I got to work on, so I won’t be out touring as much as I’ve been touring.”

“I’m having fun this time because it’s set up to enjoy myself, we not feeling pressure.”

Tickets for the Australian leg of 50 Cent’s The Final Lap world tour go on sale from June 8th at 2 PM (with a Live Nation pre-sale occurring on June 6th from 1 PM) – check out the dates below.
