Italian glasses brand Persol has been making high end eyewear since 1917, when Giuseppe Ratti began designing sunglasses for pilots and racing drivers. His designs quickly proved popular with the masses and since then have been worn by pretty much anyone who’s anyone, from Steve McQueen to Jay-Z to Ryan Gosling.
