Nothing calls time on the summer season like a sun-soaked takeover of Bondiโs iconic Icebergs pool. On a pearler of a day, Icebergโs whitewashed stone seating and splashes of blue could fool you into thinking itโs a little slice of the Mediterranean. On Thursday, February 29, it was basically transformed into exactly that for the launch of Peroniโs new Stile Capri lager.
Nautical nods to the Italian seaside adorned the pool deck to celebrate the arrival of the new drop โ a crisp, fresh beer with hints of lemon and olive leaf. The pool was complimentary all day for Sydneysiders to drop in and sample the Peroni Capri Beach Club pop-up.
The official launch event welcomed publishers, tastemakers, VIPs and celebrities to taste the latest bottled goodness alongside a selection of mouthwatering Mediterranean dishes prepared by the award-winning Icebergs Dining Room and Bar. Tigerlily spun grooves as the sun set on another stunner of a Sydney day, and closing the book on summer.
