Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got the best Cartier auction ever, New Balance’s latest everyday runner, some tasty NV Champagne, and plenty more.
New Balance Ellipse

New Balance’s all-new Ellipse v1 could be the daily trainer you’ve been waiting for. Built around a Fresh Foam X midsole that’s designed to deliver a trampoline-like bounce and underfoot comfort for everyday miles, it’s a shoe that prioritises feel-good running over outright speed.
It might also be the best-looking Fresh Foam shoe New Balance has ever made, arriving with your choice of an endless array of different colourways. With a mild rocker geometry and a plush, compliant ride, it’s perfect for weekly training ahead of race-day.
True Protein All Natural Protein Shake

I recently took delivery of a few bottles of True Protein’s new All Natural Protein Shake, and I have to say, I’m impressed. The ready-to-drink protein market is already massively crowded, but after five years of development, the All Natural Protein Shake arrives with a clear point of difference in the fact that it uses real milk, as opposed to the commonly found reconstituted powder.
You’re getting 30g of pure protein with flavours like Rich Chocolate and French Vanilla, and it’s smooth enough to actually enjoy. Plus, True Protein was born and bred in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and who doesn’t enjoy supporting a home-grown hero?
Sotheby’s “Shapes of Cartier” Auction

Everyone needs a Cartier in their collection, and if you don’t yet have one, you’re in luck. Sotheby’s is set to auction the most significant collection of vintage Cartier watches ever assembled, spanning more than 300 timepieces collected over 25 years.
We’re talking Crashes, Tanks, Baignoires, Drivers, Octagonals, and rare one-offs from Cartier’s Paris, London, and New York workshops, all chronicling a full century of the brand’s most radical and beautiful designs. The top lot of the sale is a yellow-gold Cartier London Crash from circa 1987, arriving with an estimated price of between $400,000 (~AU$566,000) and $800,000 (~AU$1.13 million).
EPC Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut NV

Most Champagne houses keep their NV blends a closely guarded secret, but EPC (a play on “epicurean”) isn’t one of them. The French label has just landed in Australia, and its Blanc de Blancs Brut NV is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grown in the chalky soils of Côteaux du Sézannais, south of Épernay.
Every bottle carries a full back-label about where it’s come from, including terroir, dosage, vintage, and the names of the winegrowers who shaped it. The result is a vibrant, citrus-forward Champagne with crisp apple notes, and if you’re in the market for a relatively affordable new drop, this could be it.
