Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got the Namica Shirahama 2 dive watch, Nigara VG10 Damascus Gyuto 210mm Knife, a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Tribute by S-Klub LA, and more.

Namica Shirahama 2
Because it wouldn’t be Good Finds without at least one watch, this week, we’re spotlighting the wonderful Japanese microbrand Namica’s Shirahama 2.
From a premium Calibre 9039 movement from Miyota that makes the second hand sweep in devilishly smooth fashion to the incredible visibility the Swiss Super-LumiNova provides, this playfully colourful dive watch is a thing of true beauty. And if we’re being entirely honest, the colourways were exactly what caught our eyes.
Your options are Neo Blizzard, Cherry Blossom Candy/Kanji, Ultra Blue, and Neo Tokyo Evo. It’s US$549 to pre-order on rubber and US$629 on steel (US$600 and US$675 RRP, respectively).
1987 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Tribute by S-Klub LA
This one-of-one custom 1987 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR tribute built by S‑Klub LA is pure vintage race car fantasy with a modern muscle twist.
Based on a humble 1987 300E, it’s been completely reworked with a fibreglass body shaped after the legendary 1955 300 SLR, painted in slick Nardo Grey. Under the hood, you’ll find 5.7L LS1 V8 paired to a 4L60E automatic, sitting in a custom tube chassis with rack-and-pinion steering, H&R coilovers, Wilwood disc brakes, and 18-inch centre-lock-style wheels.
It’s got just 189 miles since the build, and yeah, it rips.
Inside, the retro charm has been preserved while introducing the tech comforts we’ve grown accustomed to – royal blue tartan seats, digital gauges, push-button start, touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, and proper air conditioning. It looks like it should be bombing down the Mille Miglia but feels more like a street-legal hot rod with vintage swagger.
At the time of this writing, the winning bid only sits at US$100,000. Find out more and make your own bids (you have another 12 days left) via the link below.
Nigara VG10 Damascus Gyuto 210mm Knife
As per B.H. Magazine Editor-in-Chief James Want:
“Next to Ryo’s Noodles in Crows Nest, a specialist Japanese knife shop has opened, offering a fantastic array of knives (at various price points) as well as an affordable sharpening service. I recently dropped some knives off for sharpening and couldn’t resist picking up a couple of new blades for day-to-day use. I asked the chap in the store what he thought was the best value, durable, chef’s kitchen knife on display. He pointed to this Nigara Gyuto, and after a quick trial, which involved slicing a potato paper-thin, I walked out the door with it (and a Tojiro DP3 Petty). They’ve got an insane pair of kitchen shears I’m definitely going back for.”
You can pick up a blade of your own via Knives & Stone (Authentic Japanese Knives) at 107 West St, Crows Nest NSW 2065 or through its official website below.
