Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.

In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got a boozy Easter classic, a great way to guarantee WiFi beyond the living room, and plenty more.

Benriach x Tokyo Lamington

good finds

Benriach’s latest move into food culture is like a smart one, teaming up with cult-favourite Tokyo Lamington to rework two Easter staples with a whisky-soaked twist: the Scotch Cross Bun and Scotch Caramel Easter Lamington. The former layers fruit infused with Benriach The Original Ten, while the latter leans richer, with chocolate sponge and a whisky caramel centre.

The delicious goods are available across Newtown, Marrickville, and Carlton until 6 April, while the collaboration also includes a whisky coffee at the Newtown store.

eero Outdoor 7

The eero Outdoor 7 is one of those products you don’t think about until your Wi-Fi gives up the second you step onto the deck, and then it becomes genius.

Amazon’s first purpose-built outdoor mesh unit brings Wi-Fi 7 beyond the walls, with up to 15,000 square feet of coverage, wireless speeds up to 2.1Gbps, and an IP66 rating tough enough for rain, dust, and properly ugly weather. It also supports 100+ devices, works as a Matter/Thread/Zigbee hub, and can be powered by PoE or AC.

Merci Instruments Geometric “Beaumarchais”

The Merci Instruments Geometric ‘Beaumarchais’ is about as good as affordable watchmaking gets, with the new line expanding the original concept into six references, all built around a slim 36mm steel case, a sharp sector-style layout, and the clean, almost architectural balance Merci does so well.

The standout details are the dials, featuring almost three-dimensional applied markers on a few references, and strong printed Roman numerals on another to keep things interesting. Inside sits a Miyota 9039 that delivers 40 hours of power reserve, and you don’t need to treat them with kid gloves thanks to a water resistance of 100m.
