Every week, Boss Hunting’s editors spend far too much time scouring the web: in search of the coolest gear, food & drink deals, and destinations worth trekking to across the globe.
In this week’s edition of Good Finds, we’ve got the Aston Martin F1 Go-Kart en route to Aldi, a sophisticated dining experience to remember at P48 with Jim Beam, and plenty more.

Aston Martin F1 Go-Kart
No, this isn’t Lance Stroll’s actual training sim, as certain online commentators have already so cleverly remarked. This officially licensed Aston Martin product is squarely aimed at children, and come September 13th, it’ll be available to purchase from your local Aldi.
Recreation livery and Pirelli tyres aside, the Aston Martin F1 Go-Kart is powered by a 12V7AH battery with twin 25W motors mated to an independent accelerator and brake (high and low speeds on demand).
It also features working front and rear lights, a multi-functional central control module, plus an adjustable frame to fit future champions of all different ages (to a certain point, of course).
Get yours before they sell out.
Georg Jensen Henning Koppel Pitcher Reissues
Copenhagen-based design dons, Georg Jensen, has reintroduced two mid-century pitchers conceived by Danish sculptor and designer Henning Koppel.
Koppel’s Pitcher 02 and Pitcher 03 were originally crafted in 1962 and 1975, respectively; with the reproductions made of mirror-polished stainless steel (the result of hours of hand-finishing). The organic and almost liquid-like quality echoes the Space Age/Mid-Century sensibilities of the 60s/70s.
According to the brand, Koppel’s meticulous design process in all its unconventional proportions would unfold and take shape over numerous iterations before eventually landing on the right variant. Incidentally, this process of trial and refinement also reflects the spirit of experimentation that shaped the Georg Jensen House.

Jim Beam’s Black Tie BBQ
For one night only, Sydneysiders can treat themselves to a fiery feast to remember as Jim Beam Black takes over Prefecture 48 (a well-documented B.H. favourite venue).
Guests are invited to step into a world where “Southern smokehouse tradition meets black-tie sophistication.” The evening is intended to be a celebration of the newly launched seven-year-old Jim Beam Black – complete with an immersive multi-course menu, crafted cocktails, and live entertainment designed to “awaken all seven senses.”
As for the all-important matter of the menu, it’s been specially curated by Luke Powell from LP’s Quality Meats – renowned for his “mastery of fire-driven cooking” – alongside Chef Julio Aguilera of Ibushi. Together, they’ve delivered something that promises to pair perfectly with Jim Beam Black’s rich notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak.
Expect Southern BBQ classics cooked over live flames and plenty of the good stuff to wash it down with.
It all goes down this Thursday (September 11th) from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Prefecture 48’s Suntory Bar (230 Sussex St, Sydney). Book your spot below.
Battlefield 6 Trailer
Cards on the table: I was always more of a Battlefield guy than I was Call of Duty. And the trailer for the upcoming Battlefield 6 has lowkey (genuinely) restored my interest in FPS games.
