Hermès has just expanded its range of peerlessly crafted objects with the debut of its first-ever pair of headphones. Featuring a bold overhead design (think AirPods Max, but even more premium) and crafted by the experimental minds at Hermès Ateliers Horizons, the headphones build on the French-founded leather goods maker’s existing line-up of audio equipment and accessories.
For those unfamiliar, Hermès Ateliers Horizons is the home of the brand’s bespoke marvels, having created everything from cricket bats and disco balls to leather-lined cars and portable cocktail bars. This 50-strong person atelier has now refocused its attention on audio products.

Over two years in development, these headphones fuse audio engineering expertise and the kind of artisanal detail Hermès is famous for. The exterior features hand-stitched cowhide leather wraps around the cups and metallic accents inspired by the brand’s iconic Kelly bag, while inside, precision components promise a listening experience that’s just as refined.
This isn’t Hermès’ first foray into audio. The house has previously designed bespoke AirPods cases and partnered with Bang & Olufsen on limited-edition headphones, while Ateliers Horizons has crafted jukeboxes and boomboxes in the past. But this marks a significant step forward, as Hermès ventures ever deeper into the world of technology without forgetting its traditional approach to craft.
Offered in a palette from rich chocolate to deep Prussian blue, the headphones will be available exclusively at select Hermès boutiques, with an Hermès worthy price tag of $23,540.
