Having recently signed a $242 million five year contract extension with the Philadelphia 76ers, it's safe to say basketball phenomenon Ben Simmons has it all.
And how does the highest-paid Aussie athlete in history treat himself on his 23rd birthday? By purchasing an Air Jordan-inspired Ferrari 488 Spider, of course.
Simmons' new whip features a one-of-a-kind sky blue colourway referencing rapper Travis Scott's "Cactus Jack" Jordan 4 sneakers. The shoes are a tribute to the Houston Oilers, the former NFL franchise that originated in Scott's hometown of - you guessed it - Houston. The slick kicks have light blue suede upper with red and black finishing on the lace cage, laces, tongue, heel tab and lining.
It appears Simmons has a thing for high-end automobiles, with the point-guard purchasing a custom Rolls-Royce Cullinan just last month to go with his growing collection that includes a black Ferrari 488 Spider and a Rolls-Royce Wraith.
