Buckle up for the next instalment of our Facebook Watch & IGTV โLunch Runโ series, where we talk cars, food, and a healthy serving of smack.
Weโve had our eye on the Ferrari Roma since its preview to Australia last year โ and itโs easy to see why this particular prancing horse has stirred the most conversation from observers ever since.
To say itโs a beautiful specimen would be an understatement. Harking back to a late 50โs, early 1960โs aesthetics, its uniqueness among the current design landscape of Ferrari makes it compelling enough in its own right, and thatโs before youโve even taken to the wheel. With the classic refinements of a grand tourer and the DNA of a spritely Italian sports car, the Roma is a breath of fresh air that doesnโt subscribe to the shrinking pool of supercar inspiration.
Finally, we wonโt go into the laughable legroom of its 2+2 configuration, but know that it can be tolerated if you think of it as an extension of the boot space (which is commendable).
This Lunch Run, Uber Eats picked up the tab once again, with John and James using the pickup function to skip the wait times. While we usually avoid chain restaurants in this series, the folks at Stackedโs North Sydney locale really turned it on for a dynamic duo of scrummy sambos.
James plays it safe with a โKickinโ Chicken,โ and John dials up the heat with a spicy โEl Mexicano.โ Both were tight and light, filling the void but sans the food coma. Great result.
