  • The iconic Detector Glasses inspire the collaboration, which features a signature pink reflective finish, and airbrushed details hand-painted in Italy.
  • American cycling legend Taylor Phinney is the star of the campaign
  • The collaboration will be available from the 21st of August on both brand's sites and will arrive with an Australian RRP of $280.

All cyclists know if you aren't the fastest rider in the bunch, you might as well be the best-looking. Sydney-founded cycling apparel brand Attaquer knows this all too well and has linked up with the Italian sunglasses manufacturer Briko, for a retro-inspired collaboration that looks a treat.

The collaboration's hero is the ATQ X BRIKO Detector Sunglasses, which are made in Italy, and feature mirrored lenses, retractable arms, and a multi-directional nose piece. Oversized, aerodynamic, and easy to wear no matter the lighting conditions, their shape is inspired by the massive sunglasses worn by the professional peloton during the 1980s.

Beyond the eye-catching eyewear, the collaborative collection also includes two high-performance men’s cycling jerseys and matching bib shorts, as well as a female jersey and bib set. For when you're off the bike, there's a technical cap, musette, and casual tee that completes the collection.

Launching on the 21st of August, the collaboration will debut with American cycling legend Taylor Phinney as the star of the campaign. The ATQ X BRIKO Detector Sunglasses arrive with an RRP of $280, jerseys will cost $200, and bib shorts $340.
