  • Deus Ex Machina and Attaquer have come together to create the limited-edition Deus Ex Attaquer collection.
  • Featuring garments that can be worn both on and off the bike, itโ€™s a head-turning lineup rich in detail.
  • The Deus Ex Attaquer collection is currently available online, with prices ranging from $25 for musettes up to $350 for the Rose Bib Shorts.

A few decades ago, cycling was all about having blood thicker than treacle, baggy jerseys, and Oakley sunnies with lenses big enough to make an aerodynamic impact. Today, the sport has more in common with the runways of Paris Fashion Week, with Attaquer leading the pack of this style-focused movement.

Their latest collaboration? A Deus Ex Machina collaboration aptly dubbed Deus Ex Attaquer.

This isnโ€™t the first time the two brands have united, having dropped a debut collection just last year. But now, the scope of whatโ€™s on offer has changed dramatically. The culture-led moto crew and Sydneyโ€™s performance cycling specialists have effectively rebuilt their partnership on a global scale, delivering a capsule that actually nails the whole โ€œride to the cafe, stay out all dayโ€ brief.

On one side, youโ€™ve got Attaquerโ€™s race-proven hardware; on the other, Deusโ€™ reputation for easygoing graphics. The result is a wardrobe that bridges saddle and street, boasting a technical lineup that covers both men and women with bibs and two jersey cuts (a classic short sleeve and a summer long sleeve).

Unsurprisingly, the specs are impressive: the collection leverages premium Italian textiles (50% recycled content), flaunting Attaquerโ€™s renowned fit with a slightly more relaxed torso for year-round miles, and a signature Race Bib that offers firm compression, seamless cuffs, as well as a high-density Race chamois built for racing to the top of the climb.

The on-bike accessories are dialled, with bidons, musettes, and socks, while off the bike, weโ€™ve got casuals, outerwear, and accessories adorned in the kind of graphic language Deus has refined across surf and moto. Fast kit and laid-back layers โ€“ prices ranging from $25 for musettes up to $350 for the Rose Bib Shorts.
