  • KITH x adidas Climacool sneakers are entirely 3D-printed, arriving as the first collaboration of the futuristic silhouette.
  • Featuring an open lattice structure construction, the minimalist design promises maximum breathability and still contains soft heel pillows and built-in arch support for additional comfort.
  • The regular Climacools were first unveiled at the end of last year in limited numbers, and will be available again on May 2nd for US$140 (AU$220). The KITH collaboration release date is TBC.

Sure, 3D-printed footwear isn’t exactly a new concept. But we’re yet to see any brand deliver a sneaker that looks as good as the adidas Climacool.

Ultra-lightweight, incredibly breathable, and created using an open lattice structure that shouldn’t trigger anyone’s trypophobia, the recently relaunched Climacool now has its first collaborator in KITH; as recently teased by the brand’s Toronto director Jonathan Crandell.

Crafted using cutting-edge 3D printing technology, the Climacool marks a bold departure from conventional footwear, designed to contour with the foot while providing 360° airflow. This breathable form delivers a level of comfort that makes the shoe feel almost weightless, while distinctive ghost stripes on the flanks add a subtle touch of branding to the futuristic look.

The Climacool doesn’t come in sex-based sizing, and is instead based on a foot model created from extensive testing on both men and women, resulting in a shoe that adapts to just about anyone’s foot. It also offers optimal support through integrated heel pillows and arch support, promising a shoe that’s equal parts form and function.

First released in September 2024, the Climacool debuted in extremely limited numbers and, unsurprisingly, sold out almost immediately. Today (May 2nd), the regular edition makes its return and will be available globally via the adidas site, the Confirmed app, as well as select retailers for US$140 (AU$220).

As for the KITH x Adidas Climacool collaboration, all details on this front aside from its existence remain TBC. Stay tuned for updates.
