The BAFTA Film Awards 2026 have arrived, and while we were keeping a very close eye on the cinematic works that earned the night’s top prize, our other eye was firmly fixed on attendees’ wrists to see what watches were on display.

From Michael B. Jordan’s uber-rare vintage Vacheron Constantin Prestige de la France to Ethan Hawke proving that size literally doesn’t matter, these are the best watches worn on the BAFTA red carpet this year.

Timothรฉe Chalamet – Urban Jรผrgensen UJ-2

Another red carpet, another opportunity for Timothรฉe Chalamet to wear his fascinating Urban Jรผrgensen UJ-2. While Marty Supreme didn’t earn any awards overnight, his continued enthusiasm for the little-known Danish independent watchmaking brand of Urban Jรผrgensen meant he was at least wearing one of the very best watches in the room.

Michael B. Jordan is quickly establishing himself as one of the best vintage watch ambassadors in Hollywood’s A-list roster, seen here wearing an asymmetric Vacheron Constantin Prestige de la France in yellow gold with a diamond-set bezel.

Following up on his recent red carpet appearance, where he was sporting a Patek Philippe Ref. 1593 โ€œThe Hour Glassโ€, this is one of Vacheron Constantin’s undiscovered historical gems.

Paul Mescal – Vintage Cartier Basculante

Paul Mescal Cartier

Last month at the Golden Globes, we spotted Paul Mescal wearing a vintage Cartier Tortue Ultra Thin, and for the BAFTAs, he’s remained on-trend with a vintage Cartier Basculante.

If you’re wondering why you can’t see a dial, wonder no more, as the Basculante is basically Cartier’s answer to the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, featuring a case that can be rotated 180 degrees to protect the dial side of the watch.

Patrick Dempsey – TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon

As one of TAG Heuer’s most celebrated ambassadors, Patrick Dempsey would have his pick of the litter when it comes to red carpet watches, and for the BAFTAs this year, he’s elected for the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon with a charming gradient purple dial.

Powered by the brand’s in-house Heuer 02 (TH20-09) tourbillon movement, it’s a limited edition of just 200 pieces.

Prince William – Neo-Vintage Omega Seamaster 300M

His uncle might be having a very, very bad week, but William, Prince of Wales, looked to be having a suitably enjoyable time at the 2026 BAFTA film awards, combining a dapper velvet jacket with his trusty James Bond-era Omega Seamaster 300M.

With a blue bezel and dial, rock-solid steel case and bracelet, and no less than 300m of water resistance, it’s nice seeing a member of the royal family wearing such an approachable everyday watch.

Leonardo DiCaprio – Rolex Daytona โ€œLe Mansโ€ Ref. 126529LN

Just like we saw on the red carpet of the Golden Globes last month, Leonardo DiCaprio was once again sporting his white-hot, white gold Rolex Daytona “Le Mans” Ref. 126529LN.

Originally released to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans motorsports race, it’s now discontinued and one of the finest examples of “stealth wealth” in the watch-collecting game.

Stellan Skarsgรฅrd – Omega Seamaster 37mm Milano Cortina 2026

Easily one of Omega’s most beautifully designed releases in recent years was the Seamaster 37mm that arrived as a special edition for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, spotted on the wrist of Swedish acting royalty, Stellan Skarsgรฅrd.

Perfectly proportioned and inspired by Omega’s Seamaster from the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, you’d be hard-pressed to find many collectors who wouldn’t want this in their collection.

Stormzy – Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked Black Ceramic

Few horological categories are hotter than Audemars Piguet’s ceramic watches right now, and Stormzy shows he’s never far away from the cultural cutting-edge with his incredible black ceramic Double Balance Wheel Openworked Royal Oak.

I was fortunate enough to try one of these on my wrist a few years back, and the combination of the cool ceramic and perfectly articulating bracelet links made it one of the most comfortable watches I’ve ever had the pleasure of wearing.

Mark Strong – Bremont Audley

With the BAFTAs being the British film industry’s night of nights, it’s always great to see a locally made watch on the red carpet, and that’s exactly what we’ve got with Mark Strong’s rose gold Bremont Audley.

What’s even more interesting is that the model is currently discontinued, meaning it’s likely a timepiece from Strong’s personal collection, showcasing his excellent taste in dress watches fit for the occasion.

David Jonsson – Vintage Cartier Ellipse

David Jonsson - Cartier Ellipse bafta watches

Paul Mescal’s Basculante wasn’t the only vintage Cartier spotted at the 2026 BAFTA film awards, with David Jonsson seen wearing a modest Ellipse in yellow gold. Paired with a black leather strap, it remains one of the very few vintage Cartier references that have stayed under the radar of most collectors so far.

Ethan Hawke – Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M 30mm

There’s nothing cooler than wearing a watch simply because you love it, regardless of how anyone else might feel, and that’s exactly what Ethan Hawke has done here, wearing a diminutive Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra that’s officially marketed towards women.

Combined with his Tiger’s Eye stone bolo tie and lightly bedazzled suit, he’s the definition of IDGAF.
